Plant a nice tree any time of the year or grow a tropical tree out of sone by planting in a container. Containers give you the freedom to bring those plants in over the winter, and to avoid letting your climate or the time of the year dictate when you get the exotic plant that you love.
Citrus are popular and interesting, but not everyone lives in Florida. But, you can purchase your very own Kumquat or lemon tree, plant it in a container, and wheel it in over the winter.Wayside has a few trees and shrubs that do really well in containers.
A couple of my favorites
The Dwarf Banana Tree
The Japanese Maple Crimson Queen
If you’d like to browse the selection here are all of the Wayside Gardens trees and shrubs for containers.
Do you have a Japanese Tree Lilac or a Hydrangea Tree. Can these be grown in a large Container?
