Question for Ebbett Monroe

To Ebbett Monroe:

497811_1 Is it true that Buddleia shouldn’t be transplanted in fall? I have a gorgeous Strawberry Lemonade growing in a large container, but it’s time to get it into the ground. I wanted to put it in the garden of my place at Isle of Palms this fall. My yard service does a good job watering and keeping the weeds down, but I doubt they would do special things like pampering a new transplant for me. What do you recommend?

Also, what about this new Buddleia for fall — Silver Anniversary. It’s a different species and I’m wondering if it will be as easy to care for as the B. davidiis.

Thank you,
